ABOUT OUR SPONSORS
Peter Mitchell
Peter Stuckey Mitchell was a wealthy grazier from Bringenbrong near Albury NSW. He was a religious man with a keen interest in classic literature. He died in 1921 at the age of 64 leaving everything to his wife who survived him by 33 years. Upon her death in 1954 it was revealed that the Estate had grown substantially and the income was to be bequeathed to various defence forces and the Churchill Trust. Peter was convinced of the need to ‘do something’ for the youth of Australia and the Churchill Trust honours his memory with the awarding of two Fellowships every year.
